Hurlburt Field to host Retiree Appreciation Day

Retiree Appreciation Day will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 16 and 17
at various locations here.

Retirees, veterans and Department of Defense ID card-holders will be offered a variety of services, special discounts and education on Hurlburt Field's mission.

The 1st Special Operations Security Forces Squadron K-9 flight and Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight are scheduled to give demonstrations.

The base exchange and commissary will be having sidewalk sales.

There will also be free bowling and shoe rentals 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 16, at Hurlburt Lanes. In addition, green fees and golf cart rental will be $24 after 11 a.m., May 17, at Gator Lakes Golf Course.

Retirees have served our Air Force and nation with pride and distinction. They are an important part of Hurlburt Field and our Air Force family. Base leadership would like to give back and thank them for their service.
