Hurlburt Field has a total of 13 dormitories that house both unaccompanied permanent party personnel in the grades of E1 - E4, and students attending Tactical Air Control Party and Advanced Skills training. Eight of these dormitories are configured to the 2+2 concept (room-bath-room), and two are configured to the 1+1 concept with two rooms sharing a common kitchen and bathroom area--all with centralized laundry facilities. Our newest three dormitories were built in compliance with the new Dorms-4-Airmen design. They are divided into 4-room modules, providing all four occupants a private room, along with their own private bathroom. The module occupants share a kitchen, which is also equipped with a washer and dryer. |
