4/10/2010 - Two Hurlburt Field Airmen Die in CV-22 Crash
HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Maj. Randell D. Voas and Senior Master Sgt. James B. Lackey from the 8th Special Operations Squadron died Apr. 8 when their CV-22 Osprey crashed in southern Afghanistan. An Army Soldier and a civilian employee also died in the crash, and several other service members were injured.   Full Press Release

1/8/2010 - Media Advisory: HURLBURT FIELD PRACTICES READINESS
HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- The 1st Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field is conducting an operational readiness exercise that began Jan. 5, 2010, and will end Jan. 12. The purpose of the exercise is to practice the 1st SOW's ability to respond to worldwide contingency operations on a short timeframe.   Full Press Release
