1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron

Mission
The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1SOCONS) provides first class excellence in operational contract support to the 1st Special Operations Wing, Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Headquarters 24th Special Operations Wing, and other Hurlburt Field tenant units. 1SOCONS provides a full range of operational contract support to award and administer commodity, service, and construction requirements and administers the installation's Government Purchase Card Program and Quality Assurance Program. Further, 1SOCONS military Contingency Contracting Officers deploy worldwide in support of wing, AFSOC, and other missions. 1SOCONS is located at 350 Tully St. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 884-5376.

Lineage
Constituted 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron on 23 Feb 1993. Activated on 24 Mar 1993. Redesignated 16th Contracting Squadron on 1 Oct 1993; 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron on 16 Nov 2006.
