Hurlburt hosts SAPR Awareness Month 5K

Hurlburt Field hosted a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response 5-kilometer run in observance of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month at Hurlburt Field, Fla., April 19, 2017. More than 250 Team Hurlburt members participated in the event. The first 100 runners to finish were given a free t-shirt, and donuts and water were offered at the end of the race. Airman Sheldon Harris, an aviation resource management apprentice with the 15th Special Operations Squadron, is the first runner to finish the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response 5-kilometer run at Hurlburt Field, Fla., April 19, 2017. Harris finished in first place with a run time of 15:48, and was given several SAPR promotional items such as a water bottle, sunscreen and a t-shirt .
