The 1st Special Operations Wing Public Affairs' Command Information Section is in charge of studio photography at Hurlburt Field, Fla.
Studio photography is conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays by appointment only for official portraits, special duty assignments, official passports, and citizenship applications. Official portraits are defined as head and shoulders (from the waist up), and full length (entire body) photos. All full length photos will only be scheduled on Monday mornings. Head and shoulders photo appointments are only scheduled on Monday afternoons and Wednesdays.
Chain-of-command studio photography will be provided for leadership at the squadron-level and above (commander, deputy/vice commander, senior enlisted leader, and first sergeant) as well as annual award winners at the Wing-level and above. Electronic copies will be provided to the requestor. All other official photos, not outlined above, may be taken during the studio walk-in day scheduled for the second Wednesday of every month, and will accommodate head and shoulders photos only.
Public Affairs will email electronic copies to the requestor.
Note: Uniforms must be in compliance with AFI-36-2903, Dress and Personal Appearance of Air Force Personnel, prior to arrival or appointments/spots in line on walk in days will be forfeited and member's command notified. In addition, missed appointments and late arrivals will be reported. Late arrivals will need to be rescheduled.
