Capt. Mark Uberuaga, 55th Rescue Squadron, descends Alaska’s Mount McKinley in June 2008 after successfully reaching the 20,300-foot summit, the highest peak in North America. Captain Ubeuaga and Capt. Rob Marshall, 8th Special Operations Squadron, founded the USAF 7 Summits Challenge, which aims to lead a team of Air Force members to the top of the highest mountain on each continent while raising money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. Six Airmen reached the top of Mount McKinley, the group’s fourth Seven Summits climb. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tim Gannon)
