MST operations in HUREX

Airmen assigned to Hurlburt Field, Florida conducted evacuation procedures to Keesler AFB, Mississippi in participation of a hurricane response exercise. HUREXs play an integral role in ensuring that personnel are properly equipped with the knowledge necessary to conduct safe and timely operations in response to a real world event or crises. Mission sustainment teams participated in the exercise by building a forward operating base for response teams to operate out of, marking the first time an MST operated in a HUREX since its creation, and furthering the extensive capabilities an MST presents as an asset of the Air Force Special Operations Command.
