Retired aircraft become static displays

Airmen with the 1st Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron prepare to tow an AC-130H Spectre to the Air Park on Hurlburt Field, Fla., Aug. 15, 2015. The Spectre was towed from the flightline and staged for installation in the Hurlburt Field Air Park. The AC-130H fleet retired May 26, 2015, after more than 45 years of service.
