CV-22 Osprey aircraft flyover Lambeau Field
Aircrew with the 8th Special Operations Squadron from Hurlburt Field, Fla., are introduced following the CV-22 Osprey flyover above Lambeau Field, Wis., Oct. 16, 2016. The flyover marks the first time that the 8th SOS has conducted a flyover of an NFL game. The Osprey is a tiltrotor aircraft that combines the vertical takeoff, hover and vertical landing qualities of a helicopter with the long-range, fuel efficiency and speed characteristics of a turboprop aircraft.
