Air Commandos cosplay at Commando Con
The first Commando Con was held at the Landing Zone Community Center to give Airmen an avenue to celebrate comics, video games and anime culture at Hurlburt Field, Fla., Nov. 16, 2016. Commando Con is based off of comic conventions where like-minded individuals amerce themselves in a fantasy world by dressing up as their favorite fictional characters. At this Con, Airmen also competed in various video game and card tournaments for prizes. This weekend is one of many events hosted by the community center to boost morale and help Air Commandos stay resilient by building a sense of community with their wingmen.
