Into the brush with Operation Raven Claw
An M18 smoke grenade is used to shelter the positions of 6th Special Operations Squadron combat aviation advisor students while they navigated through “Palmetto Land” during Operation Raven Claw at Duke Field, Fla., April 27, 2017. Throughout Raven Claw, students faced different scenarios to include providing casualty treatment for local civilians, handling potential human rights violations and reacting to improvised explosions during the middle of the night.
