823d RHS conducts training exercise

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Matthew Taylor, an 823d Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer (RED HORSE) electrical power production journeyman, raises the light mast on the light cart during an equipment processing training exercise Sept. 26-27 at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The exercise tested the unit’s ability to recall, prepare and deploy Unit Training Codes requirements based on response times from the unit’s Design Operational Capability. Exercising these skills is essential during the 800th Red Horse Group’s ongoing effort to reorganize its UTCs to better support combatant commanders with worldwide construction capabilities. The 800th RHG is based at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.
