Air Force Drill Team visits Hurlburt

Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team visits Hurlburt

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- The U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team gave a demonstration of how they perform at the King Auditorium on Hurlburt Field, Fla. March 12.

The drill team is traveling to Air Force bases in search of Senior Airmen and non-commissioned officers to join their ranks as supervisors.

"The best part of being on the drill team is mentoring the young Airmen," said Master Sgt. Whitfield Jack, the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team superintendent.

After their demonstration, the drill team briefed the audience on what is required of drill team Airmen as well as all the events they participate in.

"The demonstration definitely changed my opinion of the drill team, I'm even thinking about joining now," said Airman Timothy Kaylor, an aerospace propulsion technician from the 801st Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. "They are really sharp, hats off to them for their perfection."
