Highway 98 CLOSURE April 15 due to Pedestrian Bridge construction

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- A section of Highway 98, located directly in front of Hurlburt Field, will be closed Sunday, April 15, beginning at 2:00 a.m., due to construction to the base pedestrian bridge.

Traffic on Highway 98 will be stopped and will reopen at approximately 8:00 a.m. Travel will be limited to two-way traffic.

Hurlburt Field is working with local authorities to ensure that designated emergency vehicles have access through base if needed.

This closure ensures the safety of base personnel and local community population as work is completed on Hurlburt Field facilities.
