Hurlburt Airmen earn ACA Commander's Leadership Award Published Sept. 1, 2011 By Senior Airman Joe McFadden 1st Special Operations Wing Public Affairs HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Six Airmen assigned to Hurlburt Field received the 2011 Air Commando Association Commander's Leadership Award Aug. 16. "This award recognizes AFSOC's outstanding performers from any Air Force Specialty Code/career field who have made the most significant contributions to mission accomplishment as determined by their respective commander," said Lt. Gen. Eric Fiel, AFSOC commander. "Their outstanding accomplishments make them truly deserving of this prestigious recognition." The award winners are: Capt. Michael Baird, 1st Special Operations Group Staff Sgt. Robert Calhoun, 1st Special Operations Security Forces Squadron Tech. Sgt. Clint Campbell, 23rd Special Tactics Squadron Capt. Susan Frank, 1st Special Operations Mission Support Group Tech. Sgt. Joshua Ort, 11th Intelligence Squadron Airman 1st Class Winarto, U.S. Air Force Special Operations School Recipients will receive a full one-year membership to the ACA and a plaque presented by AFSOC leadership at the association's annual reunion banquet in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Oct. 8.
