Why did you join the Air Force?
I really wanted to travel and, at the same time, learn a good trade.

How does your Air Force specialty contribute to the mission?
Our career field performs topographical, horizontal and vertical, control land surveys that directly support construction and maintenance around the base. We also provide reconnaissance surveys for any aircraft accident.

If you were Chief of Staff of the Air Force for one day, how would you change the Air Force?
I think we would all want to change some minor things here and there, but, overall, our Air Force functions very well the way it is. I wouldn't make any drastic changes.

What's your favorite thing about Hurlburt Field?
I enjoy the weather here and love the beach. This area works well for me.

What do you like most about being an Airman?
The camaraderie is what I enjoy the most.

What's one thing you wish you were told before joining the Air Force?
I wish I was told about all the great things the Air Force has to offer. It would have made my decision to join a lot easier.

What motivates you at work?
Good leadership, and the strive to be better at what I do.

Who are your heroes/role models?
My mom, because she is a very strong woman with great values.

Advice to others?
Challenge yourself to become better at what you do. There are always certain areas that we can improve.
