1st SOW welcomes new command chief

The 1st Special Operations Wing recently welcomed a new command chief. Here is a little more information about him.

Name/Rank: Chief Master Sgt. Dexter L. Mitchell

Title: 1st Special Operations Wing Command Chief

Hometown: Chattanooga, Tenn.

Off-duty time is for: Vacationing with family, weightlifting, reading, fishing and completing doctorate degree.

Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan
Hurlburt Field, Florida
Kunsan Air Base, Korea

Organizational Goals: The key to the success and proud heritage of the 1st Special Operations Wing has always been its people. To continue our success, we must continue to do all we can to ensure our Air Commandos and their families are cared for. This encompasses resourcing, training, retention and quality-of-life initiatives.
