HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Hurlburt Field would like to congratulate the following individuals on being selected the top performer in their selected categories for the second quarter of 2009. The winners were recognized at the quarterly awards breakfast, held on Aug. 4 at the Soundside Club.

Honor Guard category: Airman Ryan Thrush, 1st Special Operations Support Squadron

Airman category: Senior Airman Kristen Travo, 1st SOSS

Non Commissioned Officer category: Staff Sgt. Clayton Starwalt, 801st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

Senior Non Commissioned Officer category: Master Sgt. Damon Purifoy, 1st Special Operations Comptroller Squadron

Company Grade Officer winner: Lt. Michael Biederman, 1st Special Operations Logistics Readiness Squadron

GS 1-8/NF winner: NF II Mona Noel, 1st Special Operations Force Support Squadron

GS 9-12 winner: GS-11 Robert Henson, Special Tactics Training Squadron
