Hurlburt announces 2008 Adventure Race Published Feb. 20, 2008 1st SOVS HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Hurlburt Field hosts the 2008 Adventure Race April 12 in Crestview, Fla., at 8 a.m. The event is open to the public. The race will consist of a seven-mile kayak down Shoal River, seven-mile hike/run and a seven-and-a-half-mile mountain bike course to the finish line. The race is divided into five categories: singles male, singles female, doubles male, doubles female and coed. Pre-registration is required for all participants. Early registration is open until March 14 at $35 per person. Late registration, open until March 31, is $45 per person.
