The site, entitled "Supporting our Families," is a work in progress and is designed to keep families informed about base events, activities and programs. It also contains links to event calendars, the 1st Special Operations Services Squadron, the Hurlburt Spouses Club, the Airman & Family Readiness Center, medical care, recreation and much more. "We at the Airman & Family Readiness Center are here to provide single Airmen and families with assistance, educational classes and services which strengthen our military communities, and promote self-sufficiency and mission readiness," said Mark Monno, A&FRC community readiness consultant. "We have wonderful support programs for deployed members and their families. Visit us or our Web site - you will be surprised at all we have to offer." The "SOF" link is hosted by the Community Action Information Board, which tracks community and family needs and requirements.
