Women's flag football heated up Monday night when the Kiss My Pass team evened out their record to 2-2 with a win over the Tigers.

The Tigers scored the first touchdown, but missed the extra point. Kiss My Pass came back within minutes, scoring on both the touchdown and extra point, bringing the score to 7-6.

Battling against each other, Kiss My Pass gained another seven points by halftime making it 14-6.
In the second half, Kiss My Pass came out with another goal but the Tigers weren't going to stand by idle. With an interception minutes later they scored their second touchdown, but missed the extra point, keeping the score at 21-12.

The Tigers' good defense kept the Kiss My Pass team from scoring again, but the Tigers' outstanding offense and another interception gave them another touchdown, bringing the score to the final 21-18.

"We played hard. We played good with only five people," said Tigers coach Mechelle Griffin. "I asked for 100 percent and my team gave me 110 percent. I'm happy with how we did tonight."

"I'm proud of them," said Ishmael DeJesus, Kiss My Pass's coach. "Every week they've improved and it shows."

The win brought Kiss My Pass's record to 2-2 and the Tigers are at 0-3.
