Military working dog unit visits local library

Members of the 1st Special Operations Security Forces Squadron military working dog unit visited the Mary Esther public library, July 15. The library hosted a Military Animal Heroes event as part of their Summer Reading Program, and Hurlburt Field’s K9 unit was invited to come speak about their profession. Staff Sgt. Ryan Troester and Tech. Sgt. Chad McCord, military working dog trainer and kennel master, visited and spoke with children about their profession and military working dog, Cleo.
