SSgt Curtis returns to 8th SOS

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Chris Curtis, 8th Special Operations Squadron, is greeted by 1st Special Operations Wing and 8th SOS leadership as he triumphantly walks through the doors of the 8th SOS Oct. 8, 2010. Sergeant Curtis was a flight engineer on an 8th SOS CV-22 Osprey that crashed in Zabul province, Afghanistan April 8, 2010 leaving him with significant blood loss and multiple fractures to his back, face, both legs, left arm and pelvis. The goal of walking through his squadron on his own accord was a motivating factor in Sergeant Curtis' recovery. (DoD photo by U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Sheila deVera/RELEASED)
