Filipino-American soldiers catch a ride in a cart during World War II. The Filipinio-Americans played an integral role in the Bataan and Corregidor areas, keeping the Japanese forces at bay. This gave teh United States time to supplement their armies with the U.S. Army. (Courtesy photo)
