1st Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The gear divided black and blue has sixteen teeth. It alludes to day and night support provided by the Squadron to its parent unit. The bow armed with a dagger reflects the combat readiness and precision with which the unit handles special operations assets. The dagger denotes the unit’s heritage. The four arrows represent the combat support provided by the unit and also the four original aircraft maintenance units.
