Championship Softball

A player from the Air Force Special Operations Command over-30 intramural softball team slugs a pitch in the first inning of the championship game Wednesday against the 505th Command and Control Wing team. Although AFSOC drew first blood with a single run, the 505th CCW tallied four runs in the third inning. Unwilling to surrender and trailing 5-2 after five innings, AFSOC rallied in the sixth inning, scoring twice. Then they produced three runs in the seventh. The 7-5 victory forced a winner-take-all final game played Thursday, which the 505th CCW went on to win 8-4.
