For the first time in years, Hurlburt Field is opening its gates to the residents and visitors of the Emerald Coast! Come visit our U.S. Air Force Air Commandos at the FREE Hurlburt Field Open House April 14-15.
The base event will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A real ID is required to gain access to the base. The East Gate will begin welcoming visitors at 8:45 a.m. and will no longer be open to the public starting at 1:15 p.m., so please plan your visit with us accordingly! We look forward to seeing you there!
Friday - DOD ID Cardholders only. Normal hours on the gates due to normal work traffic, but event will still begin at 0900.
Saturday - Hours 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. for event entry. Any non-ID cardholders that go to the main gate will be redirected to the East Gate to gain access to the event.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with our Air Commandos, experience thrilling demonstrations and tour our latest generation of special forces aircraft, which is essential to accomplishing the nation's global defense mission. The Airmen at Hurlburt Field are looking forward to providing attendees several behind the scenes showcases of how the Air Force is preparing for the conflicts of the future and how the heart of Air Force Special Operations presides in the Emerald Coast.
