Ospreys land on USS Oak Hill
A pilot with the 8th Special Operations Squadron maneuvers a CV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft onto the amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) during a deck landing qualification flight off the coast of Virginia, July 25, 2017. The 8th SOS conducts deck landings four to six times a year to ensure aircrews are qualified, current and ready to conduct global operations any time, any place.
