XCOMM - Forging Airborne Connectivity
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Lucas Gross, an Airborne Mission Network technician assigned to the 1st Special Operations Communications Squadron, attaches an Inertial Reference Unit (IRU) to the bottom side of an antenna that is then later attached to an In-Vehicle-Equipment or IVE-Kit, Aug. 4, 2022 at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The IRU and IVE-Kit equipment allow training to be conducted in a classroom setting without the need to step out to work on an aircraft.
