Hurlburt strengthens Air Force readiness by establishing the first stateside Joint Trauma System Valkyrie training site

Air Commandos assigned to the 1st Special Operations Wing participate in the first stateside Joint Trauma System Valkyrie training at Hurlburt Field, Florida, June 11, 2026. Medical personnel practiced administering fresh whole blood transfusions in realistic field conditions, developing the skills needed to treat critically injured patients when advanced medical care is not readily available.
