The 16th Helicopter Maintenance Squadron dominated the football field against Air Force Special Operations Forces Regional Supply Squadron. Tuesday night, securing a 33-7 victory.

Codara Chance ran in the first of many touchdowns for the HMXS team in the first few minutes of the game, leaving AFSOF RSS blindsided by his untouchable run straight down the field.

However, AFSOF turned it right around and secured a touch down and gained the extra point, which put AFSOF at a 7-6 lead.
The field caught on fire after that. HMXS cranked up the heat and came back strong to secure a second touchdown and third touchdown, thanks to Jeremy
Logan and Cody Wilson, leaving HMXS with a half-time score of 20-7.
In the second half of the game, HMXS all-star Cody Wilson ran the pigskin in for two more touchdowns. AF-SOF struggled to get back on top during the whole second half of the ball game. But, several failed passes and interceptions left them begging for mercy from HMXS.
In fact, that's exactly what had happened at the conclusion of this ball game.

The referees enacted the "mercy rule" in the last two minutes of the game. HMXS was beating AFSOF by more than 19 points and there was no way for them to recover.

"Teamwork and communication led to our win," said Matt "coolie" Hlasny. "We communicate well on the field, which led to our win."
This win put HMXS at a 1-2 record.
