Hurlburt Field continues preparations for Tropical Storm Karen

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. --  The 1st Special Operations Wing is currently in Hurricane Condition 3 with an ongoing aircraft evacuation event. At this time we do not anticipate family or dependent evacuation. Please stay tuned to local emergency services and base announcement for further guidance.

Below is a list of the base facilities and services' availability:

- Reef Dining Facility: Monday - Friday normal hours, Saturday & Sunday normal hours
- Riptide Dining Facility: Monday - Friday normal hours, Saturday & Sunday CLOSED, no midnight meal
- Child Development Center East, Child Development Center West, and Child Development Main : Monday - Friday normal hours; If parents need extended child care they can pick up a Family Child Care list from any CDC or go to http://www.myhurlburt.com/pages/fcc.html and contact a provider directly. Parents will be responsible for any cost for care that they incur while using FCC. Currently, the CDCs have not been directed to stay open past normal operating hours.
- Commissary: CLOSED
- AAFES Gas Station: Normal 24 hours 7 days a week
- Base Exchange: Monday - Sunday normal hours
- Clinic: Monday - Friday normal hours
- Pharmacy: Monday - Friday normal hours
- Self-Help Store: CLOSED
- Mini Mall: Food Court normal hours, Barber Shop normal hours and Clothing Sales normal hours
