The Aderholt Fitness Center on Hurlburt Field is scheduled to host its annual Aerobathon this Sat., Jan. 24.

The event is free, and encourages Airmen to bring their friends and family to start the New Year off with 90 minutes of exercises that include Dance Fitness, Boot Camp, Cardio Kickboxing and Yoga.
Each segment will be about 20 minutes long, according to Karen Cataldo, Aderholt Fitness Center manager.

“[This event] gives everyone an opportunity to meet some of our instructors and participate in a variety of classes,” said Cataldo.

Participants will learn different forms of exercises which will enable them to see what they like in these particular classes. There are breaks between each class, and snacks and water will be provided.

According to Stacy Scheffler, a past participant of Aerobathon, participants get as much out of it as they put into it.

Scheffler liked that the different exercises had multiple levels so people could workout at their own level, going as hard or as easy as they wanted.

By coming to this event, Cataldo hopes Airmen will become more aware of the great opportunities [the Aderholt] has available to them at no cost.
