The 1st Special Operations Force Support Squadron released a survey, Oct. 19, 2015, to ensure the child development centers are meeting the needs of families assigned here.

The survey is designed to determine what current customers need as well as the needs of families not using the CDC.

“Everyone who currently utilizes our service, and even the individuals who don’t use or think they can’t use the service because of shift hours, are encouraged to take the survey,” said Lt. Col. Lee Comerford, 1st SOFSS commander.

In addition to full-time care, the CDC offers flexible options like hourly care and slot leasing.

“We want to stay in tune with our customers to best serve Airmen and their families,” said Comerford.

The survey will help identify what type of care is needed to support the base’s families; such as, hourly, part-time, full-time and what hours Airmen and their families need child care.

“We would like to hear from as many families as possible to allow us to evaluate the need to alter our services to create an even better environment for Airmen and their families,” said Col. Todd Fogle, 1st Special Operations Mission Support Group commander.
