Cletis Carmean used to work on, during a visit to the Air Park on Hurlburt Field, Fla., Dec. 28, 2012. Cletis, a former Airman with the 316th Troop Carrier Group based out of Hurlburt Field, served as a crew chief for the same plane during the paratrooper drops and reinforcements missions in the Invasion of Normandy during World War II, June 1944.
