In memory of Chief Binnicker: Leader, Hero, Legend
A flag flown over Capitol Hill in honor of Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force #9 James C. Binnicker’s life is on display during his celebration of life ceremony at the Emerald Coast Convention Center, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., March 28, 2015. During his tenure as the ninth chief master sergeant of the Air Force, Binnicker led the transformation from the Airman Performance Report to the Enlisted Performance Report, and developed the performance feedback system. He also worked to have master sergeants admitted to the Air Force Senior NCO Academy, and to increase the opportunities for minorities and women throughout the Air Force.
