DAGRE sharpens skills during Task Force Exercise
Senior Airman Rose Merotta, opposition forces augmentee, operates an m240 machine gun during a task force exercise at Hurlburt Field, Fla., July 27, 2015. Exercise scenarios included downed aircraft site security and armed escort. Through the scenarios, the 1st Special Operations Security Forces Squadron deployed aircraft ground response element was able to accomplish multiple training objectives including close quarters combat, small unit tactics, flight deck denial, fly away security, close air support, casual evacuation and more.
