Senior Airman David Rios, 1st Special Operations Support Squadron airfield management operations shift leader, enters a flight plan into the aeronautical informations system replacement on Hurlburt Field, Fla., Aug 4, 2015. The AISR notifies other bases and airports of the aircraft flying. It provides information such as, aircraft type, tail number, and departure and arrival times so aircraft can be tracked by other air traffic control towers to ensure safe travel through airways.
