Fire Prevention Week engulfs Hurlbut Field

Sparky the Fire Dog and Airmen with the Hurlburt Field Fire Department greet Airmen on base, visited Child Development Centers, the base library and other locations around base throughout the week to educate and raise awareness about fire prevention. This year’s theme is “Hear the BEEP, where you SLEEP: Every Bedroom Needs A Working Smoke Alarm!” Fire Prevention Week will conclude with a fire muster challenge open to Airmen around base, Oct. 9.
