Mission
The 1st Special Operations Dental Squadron (SODS) accomplishes global special operations taskings as an Air Force component member of US Special Operations Command. The unit promotes and maintains health for 15.4K beneficiaries divided amongst 4 groups, 25 squadrons, and 39 partner units. Personnel provide dental support to ensure the highest state of wartime readiness and oral health for AFSOC personnel and assigned partner units.
