Special-Tactics Airmen crush ‘Monster Mash’
Col. Eric D. Ray, 24th Special Operations Wing vice commander, uses an electronic, hand-held wind meter to check wind speed during a Monster Mash training event, June 11, 2015, at Spectre Island on Eglin Range, Fla. Monster Mash is a long-standing special tactics training tradition, consisting of an obstacle course where special operators complete timed scenarios at different stations of core mission training. Participants were required to coordinate an air-support drop for their mission by providing an aircraft with an accurate release point. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Ryan Conroy)
